Biotec 2025, the 19th Congress of the Spanish Society of Biotechnology, is scheduled to take place from July 15 to 18, 2025, at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). This premier event will feature four plenary lectures by distinguished experts: Dr. Michael Koepcke (LanzaTech), Dr. Fátima Bosch (CBATEG-UAB), Dr. Amparo Querol (IATA-CSIC), and Dr. Alfonso Valencia (BSC-CNS). The congress will also include thematic sessions covering areas such as food biotechnology, biocatalysis, health biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, and plant biotechnology. Additionally, the event will host the SEBiot Award ceremony, recognizing young research talent in the field.
